Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a time to reflect on the struggle for justice, honor the leaders who risked everything to expand civil rights, and recommit to building communities where everyone can thrive. Dr. King’s vision of equality, dignity and opportunity for all continues to guide conversations about fairness and democracy today.
AARP South Carolina is hosting an MLK Day film series to create space for learning, reflection and dialogue about our shared history. By bringing people together to watch and discuss these important stories, we hope to deepen understanding and highlight the ongoing work needed to advance equity for people and communities of every age.
