Camp scholarships are available to Jewish children whose primary residence is in the Columbia area.

Applicant families must be current on all outstanding pledges to Columbia Jewish Federation and current donors to the current year campaign.

Scholarships are for campers entering grades 3-9 in the fall of 2025.

The mission statement of the summer camp must speak to the positive reinforcement of Jewish education, growth and development, and increasing commitment to family, synagogue and community.

The camp must have a current accreditation by the American Camping Association and have a specific Jewish educational mission.

All applications are subject to approval by Columbia Jewish Federation.

Scholarship amounts will be based on the number of applicants and the available funding.

Families with financial need may request additional scholarship funding, and will be contacted to discuss in confidence.

If a family is requesting reimbursement of a prepaid expense, receipts must be provided with the application.

Scholarship recipients may be asked to share stories and photos of their summer camp experience in the Columbia Jewish News or other Federation events or publications.
