You are cordially invited to attend an opening reception for the Hélène Berr, A Stolen Life exhibition on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Richland Library (1431 Assembly Street) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Dr. Theodore Rosengarten, Professor of Holocaust Studies at the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina, will be the Keynote Speaker. Mayor Steve Benjamin, City of Columbia will be in attendance. Denis Barbet, The Consul General of France in Atlanta, and Jacques Fredj, Executive Director of Mémorial de la Shoah, will also be in attendance. Co-sponsored by the South Carolina Council on the Holocaust, Alliance Française de Columbia, USC European Studies program, USC Jewish Studies program and the Lourie Law Firm, LLC.
