Columbia Jewish Federation Grant Program

The Columbia Jewish Federation awards grants based on the following criteria.  An application package is available for download here.

Our Grant program has set forth the following guidelines that will hopefully guide you in making your case for consideration.

I. The Columbia Jewish Federation seeks to financially assist with support for programs and activities which advance the mission of the Columbia Jewish Federation.

  • Grants are for program development
  • Membership growth
  • Leadership development
  • Educational and cultural program about Jews and/or Israel 

 II. Grants range from 500 to 2,500 dollar per project.
 
Below are areas of priority.  (Yet the order of priority may shift from year to year).

 (1). Enhance Jewish Education

 (2). Community building
     ● Fostering co-operation between 2 or more of our local Jewish organizations.

 (3). Outreach to interfaith and unaffiliated Jewish Population.

 (4). New ideas to enhance Jewish Life in Columbia.

III. Grants are not renewable by the grants program.  If this is a continuing project, you will need to show how the project will be sustained after the first year.
