Teleconference Series: Meet the Candidates – The Israel Elections 2013

Please join us in a unique opportunity for Jewish Federations to engage directly with candidates in the upcoming elections in Israel.

The Jewish Federations of North America will hold the first teleconference analysis of the 2013 Israeli elections on Thursday, January 10 at 2 p.m. EST. The call will feature representatives from Israel’s major political parties, who are campaigning ahead of the upcoming elections on January 22. Each speaker will discuss their party’s main platform and direction, and take brief questions from the moderator and audience.

The call is being presented by the Israel & Overseas Affinity Group and is part of a three-part series of exclusive teleconferences to help the North American Jewish community better understand the impact and implications of Israel's elections.

JFNA Statement in Solidarity with Newtown

The Jewish Federations of North America send our deepest condolences and prayers to Newtown, Conn. We stand in solidarity with the entire community of Newtown at this difficult and tragic time, and send our love and support to the families of the victims. Let us pray for the souls of the children and educators whose lives were taken by this unimaginable and senseless act. May G-d give strength to the families of the victims and the entire community and they should know they are not alone.
